Montclair Art Museum
BRIDGES, an after-school intergenerational program, which brings together Montclair-area middle school students in the 7th and 8th grade and people with dementia to participate in the creative process through gallery tours at Montclair Art Museum, art-making, music, and theatre.
BRIDGES offers cultural experiences for this rapidly growing population and aims to remedy the widespread isolation and depression of elders with dementia by engaging them in an artistic environment and bringing them together with middle school students.
