The North American Drama Therapy Association is now accepting proposals for the 2024 Eastern Region Drama Therapy Symposium scheduled for Saturday, June 1st, 2024 hosted by The City University of New York’s School of Professional Studies Applied Theatre Program.

The theme this year is, At the Intersections, investigating where our role as drama therapists intersects with other identities, professions and social movements.

We are looking for proposals that explore populations you work with, clinical and non clinical settings, licensures, education, medical, mental health, trauma informed practices, disability studies, racial justice, LGBTQAI+ rights, accessibility rights, neurodiversity, private practice, psychology, social work, expressive arts, applied theatre, and more.
